I guess the anaesthetic has worn off where the needle went in. It should settle itself.I had 4 lots of drains this year because my lung kept going down. They have left me with pain between my ribs which means I am on pain relieving patches and paracetamol for ever it seems. What a bother!

I had same procedure under local. A nurse held my hand all the way through ❤️. But in the end they couldn't clear it, because of where it was placed they said (they didn't seem worried as they said there wasn't a lot of fluid). It was a while ago but seem to remember feeling uncomfortable for a few days afterwards. Take care and hope you feel better soon 🤞🙂xxx

Thanks. Yep, just feel like I've been punched in the ribs a bit. The Doc said there's about a litre of fluid (!) and he removed bout 35mls for testing...

The amount was logged as 'moderate'. Thing is no one can discover why it's there! I'm an enigma!!! XX
