Here in Ibiza my breathing is easier and my coughing less. The climate and being at sea level is obviously EXACTLY what my poor lungs need! It's so peaceful and beautiful too. I've managed some trips, gentle strolls, paddling in the sea even a bob about in the pool! Happy birthday NHS!

And breathe . . .
Glad you're having a lovely time, long may it continue! Xxx
That's lovely for you going to ibiza!
It looks absolutely beautiful there. Glad you're having a lovely time. I found Llandudno pretty good for the lungs too. xxx
I like Llandudno as well!
It's a Victorian town isn't it?
Rhyl I feel has gone to rack and ruin as it used to be good there!
One year we stayed at a farm cottage near Caernarvon and I had asked about going to Rhyl to the Sun Centre there and got told no and I had ended up getting ever so upset over that as with children things like that feel like the world has ended!
What appears silly and childish to adults can feel like the world has ended for a child!
This was my first time in north Wales. The sun shone and the sea was blue. Why go abroad? xxx
Usually in North Wales and Manchester it's raining that drizzly Manchester type rain so that's nice to hear it was sunny for a change!
There are some great places here to visit in the UK aren't there?
I carried a mac everywhere, but never needed it. Funnily my one visit to Manchester was on a lovely sunny day too.
So pleased it’s suiting you there and allowing you to enjoy your holiday….. just what the Dr ordered 👍😂xxx
It certainly is! Here the Spanish government pay 50% of pensioners holiday costs for winter holidays! Keeps pensioners well and tourist resorts open.
Its a great idea but I thought it had to be out of season?
Yes, during the winter when us tourists have left.
It looks beautiful and sounds just what the doctor ordered. I always feel better in a dry climate. I hope this continues for you when you get home x
What a beautiful place to have as your view ..Sounds like your having the best time hope you're trying the late opening night clubs and getting jiggy ... have a few shots for all of us here ...
Thankyou for posting 💜💜💜
What a beautiful view! Enjoy the rest of your holiday 😊
looks amazing, enjoy xx
So pleased you are feeling better and it's helping you with your coughing and breathing. If only living by the sea was available to us all. Life would be easier. Enjoy your holiday. Brian
It looks amazing and will have done you the world of good. I always feel better in a warmer climate. Enjoy the last few days x
Hi Karenanne,
It looks beautiful.
Can I ask, if you don't mind, which lung condition do you suffer from. My husband has just returned from a trip to the South of France, and he thought the air was excellent, even though he doesn't have a lung problem - his body felt lighter and more energised.
I also found it interesting about you getting airport assistance. I had a terrible time on the aeroplane this year. I had a fan going the whole time and my oxygen levels dropped. When I got of the aeroplane, I could hardly make it to the passport section - it must of been bad, as people kept asking me if I was ok. My COPD nurse suggested I ask for special assistance, if I travel again - did you really find this beneficial - she thought I was worn out before I got on the aeroplane!
It’s a really good idea. I find travel quite stressful, and I become quite anxious about getting through security, going to the loo, finding out which gate, and then getting to the boarding gate in time. And then my breathing gets worse of course! Some of those gates are quite a long walk too, an upright incline or there’s a set of 15 stairs to get on or off the plane, or that you’ve got to do to get into the airport building. None of which are good for the dodgy-lunged 🙄 under pressure! Go for the assistance in the future, and be able to start or finish your holiday feeling ok 👍
I have very severe copd, being considered for a lung transplant, and bronchiectasis. The assistance makes a huge difference! I am met by a wheelchair and handler so my husband just has to check in the luggage. We are whisked through security, me still in the chair, to departures. Then wheeled to the bus for the plane. Met with a chair the other end and taken to our coach. Then the same in reverse coming home. My breathing was a little raggy on the plane but nothing I couldn't handle. I thoroughly recommend the assistance. The walking and standing would finish me off! It was recommended to us by customs a few years ago when I nearly collapsed at their feet!
Beautiful. Lucky you. 😍
I used to be weller than I should have been in Spain, and Greece - I got tripped up in Corfu, so humid and stuffy, kick started my COPD.
Oh no! I can't believe how much easier my breathing is here!
Ibiza is an Island which can be hot but the winds keep it fresh. I on;y have had problems in Corfu - On beach shades not enough, I had to leave the beach - So humid. I felt better at night when sun had gone down, Turkey was hotter but a drier heat, had no problems there or Majorca and Channel Islands. These days makes no difference, my GP advised me not to fly even to IOM or leave mainland, that meant insurance would be impossible. Spanish Islands are great including Canary Islands
that looks glorious - and as good for your soul as your body. Enjoy! 🥂🏖️☀️
So pleased you are / were on holiday. What a beautiful picture. xx 👏👏👏
I have breathed in the entirety of your photo!
