I think we need more information about your cough to be able to comment. For example have you been diagnosed with any sort of lung disease, how long has the cough been going on, have you seen your doctor about it? Best wishes- hope we can help you.

you need a professional analysis of your sputum to identify if you have a bacterial, viral, fungal infection or an allergic cough. Once the cause is identified the relevant action can be taken
