I had a car accident in February 2020. It left me with a few long term problems. To cut a long boring story short I got an injury that made drawing and writing difficult. Walking became a problem because I kept falling over. Recently I had a dizzy turn. It was late stage Ménière’s Disease. My hearing has deteriorated and I have hearing aids.
If anyone remembers my boy George, I pay a professional dog walker. He loves going to exciting places like local parks and meadows. It is good for him to meet other dogs who are in the small group. I don’t get out much anymore now I am not allowed to drive. I’m so glad we have the internet, It is an extravagance. I love my iPhone and iPad.

Yes, thank goodness for the internet; so glad you engage with it to good effect. You have inspired me to perhaps get another dog after losing mine a year ago, as I, too, can no longer walk them, due to back problems. But if you pay professional dog walkers, perhaps that's something I should consider too. The dog I dog-sit currently, gets walked before and after he visits me, which works. So, very many thanks indeed for giving me the idea. xx

So sorry to hear you have had a bad couple of years. We just never know when things will happen and change our life. Obviously a car and your driving was a way of getting about. I lost my husband in 2020 so not often on the site but have since developed liver problems myself so joined the British Liver trust on Healthunlocked so keep in touch with my old friends on here.
