Hi. I have arthritis and back and neck pain. I had a course of physiotherapy last year. This involved regular meetings with the physiotherapist. She gave me a plan of exercises to do which were sent to my phone and the following meetings she would discuss and adjust accordingly. Sometimes she would massage a particular part of my body. I found I benefitted from the sessions and continue to do many of the exercises daily. I was surprised that I never did the exercises during the meetings and therefore never established that I was doing them properly . Good luck

I always checked with my physio at the next meeting to make sure I was doing the exercises properly that she'd given me the previous time.
It's true that I've had a similar experience. My mom experiences knee discomfort and arthritis. She tried a lot of the treatments, but she didn't find any relief; instead, her condition got worse. Her knee pain made it difficult for her to walk. Then one of our cousins advised my mother to try physical therapy. Following a course of physiotherapy, she experienced relief and happiness within a month. She was able to manage all of her activities on her own and walk without experiencing any pain. To treat her back pain, she is still keeping up with some of the physiotherapy exercises (physiomobility.com/senior-p.... Her physiotherapist's recommended exercises help her maintain a healthy lifestyle.
