Bronchiectasis and Covid

I have Bronchiectasis and have been ill since beginning December. Just feeling better beginning March and got Covid. How many weeks should I wait for Spring jab?

I think you need to ask the medics this. I had covid in January 2 years ago and was told it was all right to have the vaccination in March.

Hi I was the same as you ill from December and then covid had the antivirals also was told to wait 12 weeks after covid before any new vaccine jab

On testing positive, I tried 119 as instructed by my NHS letters but it was Sunday so had to call 111. Spoke with a Doctor who made an appt at the hospital to see a GP. He didn’t want to give the antivirals but gave me more antibiotics and steroids no to be used unless necessary. I waited 5 days before using them and slowly got better after them. I do have an appointment with my Consultant in 2weeks so have a long list of questions for him. It’s been a long tiring road this last 4 months.
