Hi everyone, would like to know if anyone feels dehydrated and shaky, from having oxygen through the night. I often have to drink more water during the night, because l wake up with very dry mouth. I didn't have this when l first started on home oxygen, but lately it has got worse. It only happens at night, not during the day, when l use it. Am wondering if anyone uses a humidifier in the bedroom at night, to keep the air moist.

I dont know about the dehydration and shakes but are you 'mouth breathing' at night? I have found I do this more and more now, the consultant said it's the bodies natural response and not to worry but I could 'mention' it to my gp on my next visit. (😂 Get an app with a gp!😂 )
I don't use oxygen, but do get a dry mouth when I sleep on my back. I use xylimelts to moisten the mouth through the night.
I think it’s just the fact of mouth breathing in your sleep. Im the Same, on 15litres 24/7 but in the night wake up several times with dry mouth. Always keep flavoured water by my bed.
