Switching nebulisers

Which nebulisers do you all have? I’ve had Pari Velox (handheld vibrating mesh) and Pari Mini (portable jet) for a while but I’ve been having issues with my Velox which appear to be not uncommon and may mean I have to give that one up. But I can’t use my Mini when I’m at sea because it’s too noisy to use in shared sleeping spaces and there’s not really anywhere else to use it while we are actually sailing! I’m considering selling my Mini and saving up for an eFlow to get the best of both worlds but that’s a big thing to save for.

For context I use it for 7% hypertonic saline and preferably would like it to be able to ‘daisy chain’ with my OPEP, Aerobika

I have two nebulisers …both omron …one small hand held quiet one and one mains powered , noisy.

I checked the price of E flow !

Evergreen nebulisers is the firm I use they have a contact no. on their website . I have asked advice from them before …told them what medication I used , where I used the neb etc ,

Good luck with your search.

yes the eFlow is definitely expensive! I’m still getting assessed medically, maybe there will be some way of getting one funded or something later down the line if my treatment is going to stay. But we’ll see. Evergreen have been great, I got my Pari Mini from them + various tubing sets etc., they’ve been fantastic!

Hope you can find something suitable. Evergreen are exceptional for giving advice. Just out of interest what is the issue with the portable Pari Velox, as I was thinking of one of these for myself.

Evergreen are great! The issue is it will run fine and then get weaker and suddenly it’ll flash orange (no sound) and turn off. Apparently it is due to moisture getting in the contacts and when we dry my nebuliser out thoroughly it helps but it’s doing this more and more 😭

I am really sorry to hear that, how frustrating for you. Well that has put me off buying one of those now, thank you very much for the information.
