clean lungs

Hi, I have just come across an advert for herbal lung cleaner, has anyone tried it and if so does it work or is it just another gimmick, is it just a waste of money. I have COPD and my lungs are ready for a good scouring.

Its called On nature organic herbal lung cleaner, I would be most interested to hear your thoughts on it.

Many thanks

I was (quite rightly) told off by a gp that I hadn’t checked that herbal medication wasn’t contraindicated with prescription drugs! So please consider speaking to pharmacist if you decide to try this.

This question came up on another site I am on, about a herbal remedy. I’m afraid I am very sceptical about the claims that substances such as this make. If they really improved the condition of serious lung issues I believe we would already be fully aware of it and even have it recommended by doctors,

Yes me too Bevvy, think I will pass on this one and live in hopes that something worth while comes soon.

I had a look at the Amazon advert and can't honestly see any reason why taking it would act to 'clean your lungs'. And as others have said, too, if you're on other meds you'd need to be sure there are no conflicts between this and what else you're taking.

I'd expect your doctor would give you a quick Yes or No over the phone.
