I had the opportunity to scroll through some of my wife`s photos on facebook and came across this one. I don`t know what it is, I only knew thet I did not want it on me. I might enjoy taking this sort of photo but not getting acquainted is a definite bonus. Any suggestions most welcome. Alle the best o everybody, Chris.

Thank you, my wife after a bit of research suggested a Gold Praying Mantis. Let`s see what else is suggested.

I agree with peege had some that looked similar in Nigeria, only a very bright green, but those lovely bent arms. I think they are an insect, where the Lady eats the Gent after being fertilised. When I was younger I thought this a very entertaining thought.

I really cant stand creepy crawlers and will do a quick exit if any come near me but think some are quite beautiful when studied from a photo x

It looks as if it's made of brass. I wouldn't mind one of them, but a whole plague would be intolerable.

Not a plague, there was only the one on my leg.

But even one is one too many.

Try to love bugs. The ecosystem can't do without them. xxx

Yes, but do they have to be attracted to me? This one was very persistant.

Is your blood group O? Mine is, and insects find it very sweet and tempting. If I am standing in a row of people, the midges, mosquitoes and horse flies all come straight to me first.

Quick answer, not sure. Off for appointment at doctors, perhaps he does know. I`ll let you know if it is anything exotic.

Curious. Maybe the flavour's in our hormones rather than our blood groups.

They must love you. I'm prepared to love anything, provided it doesn't sit on my camera lens when I'm trying to take its photo. Except mosquitos. They are the enemy. xxx
