Pari Velox issue

So I have the Pari Velox: from the colouring I believe it’s the junior one but I think that’s beside the point? I have been having an issue with it for a while now where it won’t nebulise the medication very well and then will flash orange and turn off with no sound signal. I spoke to Pari customer service who were very good and said it was a problem with Moisture getting into the contacts between the handset and the medication chamber. I dried out the whole unit and it worked again for a bit but now it will work fine to start with and then have a Barney mid-treatment. This would be unhelpful anywhere but I work on a tall ship and especially when we are sailing, this means I cannot do my treatment. I have a Pari Mini (the UK version of the Pari Trek S) which is completely reliable but I cannot use it in accommodation spaces while we are sailing because it would disturb people trying to sleep.

Has anyone else here had this issue?? My dad and I have contacted Pari again but obviously it’s the weekend so I thought I’d see if anyone else has experienced this and had any ideas. I am looking into the eFlow for the long term but would need to save up for a while for that, and haven’t yet had my appointment with my new respiratory clinic.

For context I don’t yet have a diagnosis, I was treated for severe asthma for a number of years to little avail and now it is certain I do not have asthma but we made some changes to my medication just before the pandemic and things have been going great. I’ve got other things going on which may or may not be relevant and have had a number of tests over the years but that’s for another post!
