barking cough

I have bronctiactasis since a child I have just had a barking cough different from normal bad headache day and night tested negative to covid had all my jabs could not eat for a couple of days using nibs and Lemzip s cough is so hard and it comes in bout’s

Hi, I get that tooooo , it's not nice when it plays up, cough and headaches day and night for weeks, it affects my eye to, it causes tromer so my eyes specsavers say. I have found that sleeping up wright at night and drinking honey and lemon gives a bit of releave from the coughing. Good luck, hope it gets better very soon.

I make up a drink using a fresh lemon and (grate some of the rind too) chop up a small piece of ginger spoonful of honey , simmer for an hour, when cool add some apple cider vinegar(with the mother). I out this in a jar and sip when the cough is bad. I also take antihistamine if the mucus is bad. Hope you feel better soon x

It's painful and irritating, I get this prior to an exacerbation and only warm drinks alleviate it

I find tspn clear honey is gd as coats throat .I wonder if it's one of the viruses around at minute? Get well soon x

yes I did get a bad virus cough wos really bad a throat head glands so from naw on since thees messages I will b making up drinks to have each day x
