Thanks everyone for your replies. I have had so many antibiotics this year, with having chest infections and uti's, l am thinking that maybe that is what is causing it. I don't have any enthusiasm for meals, but know l have to eat to keep up my strength. I am still in the grieving process from losing my husband two years ago to lung cancer. My whole world was turned upside down. Then l got hit in May with the diagnosis of Bronchiectasis and having to go on home oxygen therapy. I am still trying to come to terms with it all. I think during this year l sorry of gave up! Now l am trying to get back to a better place, but it's so difficult. I have lost a stone in weight, which l can well do without. Sorry for the long post, but l know peoplecon this site can maybe understand how l am feeling.

Hello Falcon. Sorry to hear of the loss of your husband. I have experienced the same with Levaquin. Took me about 2 weeks to get my appetite back. Hopefully yours will return soon and you will be on the road to recovery. Take care.

So glad you're in a better place now, falcon68. What a double whammy, losing your husband and being diagnosed with bronchiectasis - it's no wonder you gave up for a while.

Have you found new pastimes to help fill your time? I collect post cards and play keyboards.

Sorry about your loss I hope you have many happy memories to sustain you.i think you are right grief and sadness can lower our immune system and make us susceptible to illness ect. I hope you have friends and family you can be with but we are all here if you need to have a place to be

good day i am 58 i got this to come bronical problems /copd /asma i have stated to have a few problems getting medy due to out of stck any body else having problems ghoust rider

I've not had problems with out of stock meds yet, but my husband has. I have had efforts to put me on a cheaper version of Ventolin- doc agreed to put me back on the real thing, since the generic version wasn't delivering. I have also had my supply of support stockings cut down to 2 a year. Hope you get your meds more punctually from now on.

Good morning i have bad copd/broncial problems /bad asma / tue to a tracky in my kneck i have help with cutting toe nails i now have corns that grow out of my toes now they have to keep cutting them out when toe nails are cut

Hi Falcon. I understand completely. I lost my Husband nearly nine years ago. It makes no difference how long it is I still miss him. I was married for 51years. I can say it does gets easier but just give yourself time. It takes a long time. But you will get there. Have you got family you can turn too?

A couple of months ago I was having one urine infection after the other. I have spinal fractures and was due to have a bone infusion but they take a blood test before you have it. They found my vitamin D was low. I looked it up and if your vitamin D is low it can leave you open to infections. Perhaps a course of vitamins might make stop the infections.

I'm sorry you are going through such a rough time. There is plenty of support on this lovely forum- we prop each other up. It would be good if you had support in the physical world too. Do you manage to get out and see other people? - it takes a lot of effort, but worth it. xxx
