Does anyone here, who also has Bronchiectasis, have leaky heart valves. I recently had a heart scan and it has shown up a couple of these. If so do you get regular checks?

Hello, Yes, I suffer with bronchiectasis (8 years) and have two leaky heart valves diagnosed about 30 years ago together with an enlarged heart. I was signed off from my cardio consultant about 15 years ago but still on regular medication . I have been constantly under the care of a consultant for bronchiectasis since my diagnosis but live a reasonably full and active life even though I have both these health conditions. If I started getting my old fluttering heart symptoms again or experienced other problems I would ask to be referred back to the cardio consultant. Cheers, and enjoy your life and dont worry too much.
