Good morning Friends. I hope you are all keeping as well as possible. I think I last mentioned about I was going to be moving. And I have had a busy week or so. Getting everything sorted. I got my keys to my bungalow in Shropshire on Wednesday. My furniture and clothes and everything else came Thursday along with a beautiful suite I brought 2ndhand. lounge is all sorted and looking great. Tuesday my electrical items are coming and being connected. And finally my new bed and wardrobes are coming Thursday the 1st of September when I shall be in. A day to sort my wardrobes out and then I have booked a break down to Weymouth from Tuesday 6th September to relax. Hope your all taking care and have a lovely day. Brian

Thanks very much Carole. I think the organisation comes from years on the road as a driver before sat navs. And having directions sorted out beforehand on a piece of paper. Hope you and Pete are doing ok love

Well done you Brian, I hope all goes well for you and you'll be very happy there 😀. Enjoy your break in lovely Weymouth. My favourite place is Burton Bradstock just along the coast with a huge National Trust carpark and fabulous restaurant on the beach. Also a beautiful botanical garden not far away also with great café/ restaurant.

Thanks so much love. I know I am going to be happy there. We have a warden support onsite 5 mornings a week and there's an emergency pull cord system if needed. And the lawns front and back are cut for us and all inclusive in the rental amount. So it's very reassuring. Brian

Bingo88 profile image
Bingo88 in reply toJaybird19

Yes I have had an easy day today. Just been to the Cemetery with flowers for my parents grave today. Tomorrow is free to just get bits and pieces. Tuesday is easy because just need to be there for the fitting of electrical goods and Wednesday is easy and then Thursday is manic because of getting my bed made up and getting stuff back in the wardrobes when they come. Brian

Best of luck in your new home!

I have booked a week off work the week after next to get on with house hunting as I will have all the time in the world then without the stress of work and hopefully will have a date and a place to move to and then get on with the packing.

Bingo88 profile image
Bingo88 in reply to

Oh right. Hope you have luck finding somewhere quickly. There was so many after every property around the North Midlands area. And I noticed more putting. Minimum earnings of 14 grand a year on the adverts as well. Good luck finding somewhere. Brian

Hope the rest of your move goes according to plan and good luck in your new home. Enjoy your break as well.

in reply toBiofreak

I have managed to sort out a week off from work the week after next and I will have all the time in the world to house hunt then and go for viewings and hopefully we will get something we like and sign a contract and then get a date to move into the place.

It's been aggravating though working full time and having to arrange viewings and the places are only open at certain times!

I had said to my sister in law last week how I have found it infuriating the way these places make things hard for working people!

Biofreak profile image
Biofreak in reply to

I used to say the same thing when I was working full time. Estate agents are generally 9-5. Hope you get sorted on your week off. Good luck.

in reply toBiofreak

I'm sure we will be fine but it helps to talk over things that you find infuriating and aggravating though!

Brian, I do hope that the rest of your move will complete well. You are obviously on a roll with this one and your plans are falling into place as you have organised. Do you have anything else to do in the place that you are moving from?

My congratulations and best wishes for your new home.

Wishing you all the best in your new home, I hope you will be happy living there. Also, hoping your GP/Medical Team in that area are excellent Care Providers. Weymouth is lovely; a good dose of sun and sea air will be a good tonic for you, after your busy time with the house move.

Thanks so much. Yes I did wonder about the care side. Because I am only moving 25 miles away. But my respiratory clinic was excellent at the old place. Hope it's as good here. Yes my parents liked Weymouth and I do as well. Hope your keeping as well as possible. Brian
