It looks as though you have some greenery around, lots of people sitting out on the pavement beside the High Street I live on, they may get coffee, but get diesel fumes, rubber bits and petrol; fumes, from busses, lorries and cars. I do get concerned about the babies in their prams, that are there beside the adults (often the nannies meeting and coffee break) Will you swop homes?ππ
No thanks , I have a view I wouldn't swap anything for ! In the day I see mountains from three sides the fourth I can see the sea and mountains of turkey. At night I'm close to the stars π±π±
Beautiful
So true βΊοΈ at night under the stars it's so quiet I truly feel at peace .
My island was the main Island in Fiji, peaceful and so little artificial light at night you could see all the stars. During sugar season the smell of molasses. The only problem? the occasional cyclone and certain tourists, when a cruise ship stopped by, everyone, except the shop keepers and taxi drivers hid. Good memories.
I love the night more than anything, peaceful just the stars , it may sound wrong but if my life ends I only hope I'm outside under the stars. This morning at six thirty I was watching kite surfer's enjoying the waves and the quiet of the morning
Looks a great place to take a well earned break!! Good to see you are having a break between house cleaning. Take care xxx π
Good morning Daveyboy1963. Hope alls as well as possible pal. Take care Brian
Hi Brian , all is good ok , very tired but on the home stretch and will be finished by Saturday then I will totally shut down and rest
Well that's good to hear pal. Just try and pace your jobs through the week. Like day resting in between a busy day. Because the heat must take its toll as well. Take care pal. Brian
It looks like a lovely spot for breakfast and nice that you are at peace under the stars x
Always peace under the stars πΉ
Good morning Dave. I hope you feel better today after being so busy.
Good to hear things are coming along and be wrapped up soon and you'll be able to rest and recuperate. Your breakfast spot picture looks ideal for well-deserved frappes!
Once I've finished I think I will sleep for a few days, think I've done some damage to my hernia I'm having a lot of stomach pain but only got tomorrow to get through thankfully
Hope you can get relief from your pain. Maybe you need to take a break now rather than later. You need to take care of yourself to take care of those chores. Can you put your clearing off for a day or so and rest up?
Got to be finished by Sunday but I have help tomorrow morning so going to drag the wheelie bin down the road to dump rubbish much easier and quicker . I'm having a break now I had a nap because of the heat
That looks a beautiful place to be in. I really envy you the stars. Please don't overdo the chores though.
Hope you can finish tomorrow and glad you have some help. Take care Davey.
I'm going to be finished one way or another πππ
Are you moving from Greece or is it your mother who is moving? My daughter has a house on Kos and I love this time of the year there, just a lovely temperature.
Neither . My parents moved here years ago, my mother passed away I came to pay my respects and got stranded looked after my stepfather until he passed away on Thursday last . I can't return to the UK not fit to fly I'm terminal
Hello Davey. I have done house clearing before. It took us (five adults) days of working four to five hours a time. It is one of the reasons I try and be a minimalist. π I hope you have help. It looks lovely there. Take it easy. π·
It's lovely but working in the heat is too much
I suppose early morning start and night time would be preferable. Summer in Japan is relentlessly hot and so humid it's like wading through vapour.
Night is cooler but it's still hot I'm clearing up in just my shorts no t.shirt and I have the fan on aswell but it just pushing the hot air around ππ
Wish I lived there> did u move there from US? I swas there in late 60;s Athens, and the border of Greece and Turkey as we hichhiked for 9 mos and walked across the border to Thesalonica (sp). I love Greece and wish we had stayed longer but we were running out of $ and still had more places to see. Two young hippie girls in the late 60"s at the end of the Beatnik era in San Francisco. (where we lived). if i could move to Greece I would as I will surely die of this Bronchiectasis and heart and no immune system . I am 77.5 now. Tell me how u r doing and what medical treatments r u on.
