I had my covid vac. today ( Pfizer version) at my local π ground , very well organised and it went like clockwork ,( thankfully not orange π) I was seen on time and the whole thing took just 20mins . I do think the smell of hand sanitiser was a little over the top and the guy who administered the π was keeping his distance a little to much , I did ask him if he was good at darts which went straight over his head but never mind we weren't there to socialise , so my first dose is done and ill be informed when and where my booster or second dose is to be administered.
I have heard of people getting flu like symptoms π€§ which I'm told dissappear very quickly ,ill obviously let everyone know if I'm unlucky enough to be in this group
As always everyone breath easy and stay well
Night god bless π as my dad used to say

Great news. I'm glad it went well for you. Hopefully you don't get any unpleasant side effects. My mum gets her vaccine on Thursday, I think it's the Oxford one. Hopefully no darts skills required π
Great News Dave! Yes I had heard the side effects are flu like symptoms so do let us know how you are. Iβm hoping to hear as Iβve been told to shield as Iβm ECV or CEV whatever - letβs see !!!
Well Iβll tell you I didnβt like those qualifications from gov.U.K. Lol but actually itβs now to my advantage because Iβm level 4 (another qualification) π€£π€£π€£ππ€£
Hi foxy 79, as to being given a choice which vaccine to choose I'm afraid not , hopefully your text or email will come through shortly with your time and date to be vaccinated , good luck
To be honest Dean, im feeling better than I have in a while, im sleeping better and breathing better , its probably a placebo effect but im not complaining, glad to hear your doing OK after your jab, I had the Pfizer one by the way
Probably not Dean, i have emphysema and bronchiectas which fall under the umbrella term COPD , I never suffered from asthma or had an attack until my diagnosis of copd in 2005 , youve heard the term "2 out of three aint bad" well not in this instance . Lol
I know 5 people who ha the vaccine 5 of them have been tested positive for covid 19 am not scaremongering but a nurse I know got told of a doctor the vaccine gives you covid 19 could be true am just sayin wot I got told b safe
I had my 1st phizer vaccine yesterday, so far only a painful arm. The centre was extremely well organised, strict social distancing and chairs all wiped in booths and waiting areas so felt safe after shielding since March. I had to laugh when you mentioned darts as I said the same to my husband ππ
