Received a text this morning stating I had been in close contact with a confirmed case and to book a test kit per my order. com . I have IPF and went out 2 days ago for the first time in weeks. I did not click on the link as it did not appear genuine unfortunately I do not have a kit to test. Everyone take care.

It sounds like a scam so pleased you didn’t open the link. Hoping you will be well and not have covid but any symptoms book a PCR test. I think you can still do that. Xxxx

Is definitely a scam. Track and trace has stopped now. Even when active you didn’t need to click on links via text messages.Well done for not falling for it.

Yes it's a scam. No organisation calls about this now. I did get a text from a friend I had seen for lunch the other week saying she had been diagnosed with covid and was letting me know. This is different of course.

You have to keep on the ball these days.

Thank you all we have enough to contend with without these. Bless you all.

Yes it is a scam by scum. Attempting to steal money over a health issue issue is disgraceful. What I always do is forward any scam emails to report@phishing.gov.uk .
