Burley in the frost
Lovely but looks very cold. I used to do tapestries and the first I did was in similar colours to your photograph.
It was 7 ish this morning so was a bit nippy ...but soon rolled away to a lovley sunny 12 degrees π why don't you do tapestries anymore
They are very expensive to buy and having done a lot over they years I still have two that haven't been framed. Used to live in a house where the ones that were framed were hung in the hallway but we moved to a bungalow, put other pictures we like in the hall and other rooms which left no where to hang the tapestries. They are all wrapped and in the loft now and likely to remain there.
Very still and looking chilly. I do love your photography Bb9, thank you for sharing. Hope the grandchildren are well and happy. Xxxπππππ
Yes thankyou Carol everyone well and getting chunky π ...hope you and yours are well ππ

Nooo I hope they get better soon Carol it's not going away is it π
Thank you bb lovely trees and really looks cold.
I know you don't like the idea of publishing but have you ever thought of doing it yourself .as you have the control then . My stepson did that and then gave signed copies away . I have been waiting for his fame to spread a bit further than our immediate family but it hasnt yet!
Thankyou Jaybird that's kind ...and no I won't print any of them it's a personal hobby that's all I need from it ππ
Understood . I think what pleasure it gives us on this site could be extended to even more people
I have asked before for members not to try and get me to promote my pics ... its my choice and I would appreciate my decision to be just that... my decision..sorry I'm not being rude but if it comes to it I won't be sharing on here anymore it's a personal hobby for me that's all I have to say
It's beautiful, thank you for sharing Bb9.By the way, what happened to Bb8? I've been meaning to ask you for some time - pc trouble again?

It's a beautiful photo! Is this Burley in Hampshire? xx Moy
It most certainly is are you from around here β€
No, but we had a short holiday there a few years ago. Beautiful area. Had a couple of problems with the hotel. It was a Saga holiday (for the mature traveller, I believe) and yet, without making it clear in the brochure, they had no lift! To make it worse, we were given a room on the 2nd floor π©I was newly diagnosed with the COPD and bronchiectasis and was also suffering from spontaneous vertigo attacksπ. They saw that I was going to struggle with the stairs and put us on the first floor instead. The 91 year old lady was lucky to get a ground floor room which were mostly unavailable.
Then, to add insult to injury, the hotel was half a mile walk from the nearest coach pick up point! We had to share a taxi to and from the coach with another couple who couldn't walk far either.
We had a good laugh over it all and enjoyed our holiday, especially the time we spent at the beautiful Exbury Gardens and also the day trip to Osborne House.
It just made me realise that you can't take it for granted that even a Saga holiday will meet your needs. I now check and double check all the things that are important to us.
You live in a most beautiful place and it's lovely that you also have such skill with the camera so that you can capture it and share it with us.
Thanks for the photo and the reminder of such a lovely place.
Xx Moy
Oh my goodness that sounded like a right saga ... I'm glad you managed to get more or less some kind of satisfaction and enjoyed a laugh with your taxi company guests ...
That's what its all about making the best of the bad and the good comes along ..
I live about 2 mins from Exbury Gardens and on one occasion went to a wedding ceremony there the ceremony was performed on the train and all the guests rode in the carriages it was quite something...
I hope you have had many happy holidays since then ππ
Wow! A wedding on the Exbury Gardens train - now that really IS something! Lucky you to live so close too.
We've had some good holidays since, but possibly not as memorable! π€£

The first thought that came to mind was 'cold heart shot with a camera held by warm hands' and I might add 'a good eye'! Awesome, eerie picture. You live a gorgeous part of this world. Thank you for sharing it with us!
