That's a lovely photo Bb, the colour of the piggies is gorgeous. I looks a bit like a painting, have you used a filer or special effect? Or was it raining? 🙂Thanks for sharing .
Hi Jackie and Jaspberry..These are Tamworth pigs very orange chestnuts colours... Its wasn't raining but there had been a massive downpour just before so they were drenched...
My phone camera isn't the best and it's got a blurry look
Definitely fully of acorns... still not enough to clear the forest floor of them a few ponies have been getting toxic poisoning so very sad .. So much cruelty in nature xx
I used to think pigs were rather scary animals- knock you over and then try to eat you, but I'm getting converted. Your look very sweet and contented. xxx
Sadly we’re home now. We were really lucky with the weather although Wednesday was a bit damp! Was bracing at Lepe beach but v interesting with a nice cafe. Thanks for all your help again. ❤️
Aww I'm glad you enjoyed it Lepes beautiful I loved swimming with Stan there .. I'm so pleased you enjoyed yourself you will moving down soon and then you can enjoy every day 🤣 did you wander round Hatchet 😀
They come out for pannage season which is when the acorns drop to the forest floor... the pigs will forage and eat as the acorns are toxic to the ponies if they are eaten in large amounts...Pannage if from September through till November ish x
