I’ve never been a great user of the “like” button, not because I don’t like posts but only because mostly I just nod or smile and move on. However, having had fifteen likes for a recent comment on frose’s inhaler post I’ll try to remember more often because it was so good to see them: reassuring me that I was on the right wave length. Thanks folks.

Ha, me too! I often type a reply to people, but forget to tap the like button at all. Some people are very good at it and you’re right, it’s reassuring to know others find a post helpful

A ‘Like’ is reward to the writer, an acknowledgment that you have read it and at least do not dislike it. A response is even better, even if it is not also ‘liked’ and is what keeps the forum alive. Members who neither like nor write and just read are usually described as ‘lurkers’ and hopefully come close to the over 50 thousand registered. 😀

I was sure it was spelled Lurcio but then wondered about the pronunciation, Latin, even cod Latin not being my best thing!

In that case I’m a lurker! Lol. Carer to son and hubby recently diagnosed with cancer so my lungs have taken a back seat. Rarely like or reply but do like to catch up when time. Currently in Dr waiting room as my nails have turned white! With everything else that’s going on this has upset me most! Straw that broke the camels back. Stress? Time will tell. Great wee forum in this page and please keep posting folks. Good to keep up to date with what you’re all going through. I’m Asthmatic and on Fostair, Spiriva and Montelukast. Time to go. When I was first here, I didn’t know about liking posts. It was quite a while before I realised about liking posts. Sometimes I forget, but I try to like posts to show I’ve read and appreciated the message 😊

I've got pantos on the brain at the moment- the town is plastered with adverts for Dick Whittington. So 'Oh no you wouldn't' again. Lol and lots of compliments xxx
