Which Exercise Machine Conclusion

Thanks so much All

Your interesting and helpful suggestions have helped a lot. Made me pause and think more clearly about all my options and what would work best for me.

As many of you noted, motivation is a big deal.

I'm now leaning towards a foldable, manual treadmill and an aerobic step platfirm. These will fit in my flat and they won't burn electricity,

Meanwhile, I'm rediscovering my exercise ball that's been sitting neglected in a corner ever since I bought it.

I came across a video on the benefits of doing rebounding exercises on a Yoga Ball. And it's working!

This is my second day trying it out and I already feel a difference - more energised, less achy.

The best part - it's easy to do and enjoyable. I

I feel motivated!

I haven't heard of rebounding exercises on a yoga ball but I'm glad that you are enjoying them and already feeling the benefit.

Hi there LClinton 🙋‍♀️ and it's really great to read such a positive result after only a day of home exercising. I had heard that Yoga Balls were really good once you got the hang of it. They are also only a small financial outlay and can be used in most homes. A win-win situation? I'll be watching to see if you post how you are finding it in say a week's time. Wouldn't it be great if this ball that sat in your home, unused until recently, gets you doing daily exercises and that you notice the difference? Best wishes and keep going- you can do it. 🐿🥜.

Well done! The hardest part is pushing through the inertia to get started. Then, when you start to enjoy the benefits, it gets easier to keep going.

Thanks for that reminder. This morning inertia with a huge capital I is standing over me. I shall heed your words and aim to prevail.

I'm pleased you have found something you enjoy. I think we are more motivated if we enjoy the exercise. I tried a seated zumba class last week, it was such fun I've booked again for tmrw! Enjoy your yoga ball.

That looks interesting. We used yoga balls in a Pilates class I once went to for the most hellishly difficult exercises. Your exercise looks much more appetising.

Not strenuous at all but it gets the lymph fluids flowing and gently works the glutes 20 minutes a day recommended vsn be split over the course of the day.

Do far so good!
