Diagnosed with IPF in Nov 2016. I find that Potters lozenges ( Green pack ) are helpful. Have had 4 breathing tests now.

Not on any other medication yet. I run 3 times a week, always have, but need to stop occasionally for a breathe.

I am trying NAC capsules again, Solgar brand, the prescription brands had to many side affects on my running.

Sounds like you are doing extremely well considering your diagnosis. Well done. Do you have regular review with your respiratory team?

Sorry you've already said you've had regular tests.

Amazing, after reading your profile and 5 years after a diagnosis of IPF and at the age of 80 you are running for 20mins 3 times a week i had to have a little lay down. The breathing tests can be quite stressfull on lungs and also our lung function declines quite naturally over time and maybe that is a factor in your observed deterioration.

I would worry not one iota and continue with your healthy lifestyle and of course those lozenges which obviously have magical qualities.

Best wishes a rather envious Ski's and Scruffy.

🙃😺

Oh wow you are doing exceedingly well with IPF, running and no medications.

I do agree with you though Potters lozenges (green pack) work well, pity about the taste though :D.

Keep up the good work all the best for your future Breathing Easy.

I am impressed! May I ask if you have had the vaccines and/or the flu vaccine? I too endorse Potters cough lozenges and wish they would bring back their liquid Vegetable Cough Remover.
