There’s not much better than great friends and good coffee 😊

No I totally agree I'm going to have a small salad for lunch because I eat healthy food my dad said he wants crumpets with Philadelphia cheese on it for his lunch when I return

Both sound pretty good ideas for a lunch. πŸ₯—

in reply to HungryHufflepuff

Yes but I'm sure the salad would be far more appealing especially when it is all fresh produce and fantastic feta cheese and proper olive oil mmm πŸ₯΄

The feta is fantastic and the produce is all grown local in the village and fresh every day , even the olive oil is from the village from the olive trees the taverna owner so can't get better πŸ‘

Oh! You! We haven't been able to go to our favourite place in Crete since 2010 and I really miss it! I slow roasted a shoulder of lamb this weekend and it reminded me so much of the great meals we had there. The salads too.

And the fresh juices!

Heaven on earth.

You enjoy! xx Moy

in reply to MoyB

That's why I love it here no processed foods 🀣🀣🀣

It certainly doesn't. Those wonderful Greek tomatoes too......

in reply to Suzie42

The ones that actually taste like tomatoes 🀣🀣 not like the ones in the UK 🀣🀣 you have to grow your own in the UK to get one that taste like they shoy

You are so spoilt Davey, how wonderful to have such good friends. I am pleased to hear you are out and about enjoying life once again x

in reply to Izb1

I won't argue with that πŸ˜ƒ Greeks are wonderful people especially when you live in a small community like I do , if I went to the next village trianda the people wouldn't talk to me especially if they knew I lived here each village is different and.each as a.setttling in period for new people . But this village is one you would have to drag me away kicking and screaming from . I've got a sneaky suspicion that the island will be closed down again within a week or two covid cases are rising we went from the max of eight cases in a month to an average of 100a day yesterday we had 121 cases all down to tourism unfortunately even the government here as admitted it . Nasty bug .πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ‘

n ew zealand had the best idea. Let nobody in.but you would never get the whole world to do that too much regard paid to the economy . My stepson was a bank manager and everything was about the economy we almost came to blows and darent mention it now. he thought the bubble idea was great Had bubbles all over the place.
