Now that is what you call a coffee
Thereβs not much better than great friends and good coffee π
No I totally agree I'm going to have a small salad for lunch because I eat healthy food my dad said he wants crumpets with Philadelphia cheese on it for his lunch when I return
Both sound pretty good ideas for a lunch. π₯
Yes but I'm sure the salad would be far more appealing especially when it is all fresh produce and fantastic feta cheese and proper olive oil mmm π₯΄
That does sound pretty good πFresh produce is great and I can only imagine how fantastic the feta must be there π₯
(Making me hungry now!)
πππ no bacon butties for me ππππ
The feta is fantastic and the produce is all grown local in the village and fresh every day , even the olive oil is from the village from the olive trees the taverna owner so can't get better π
I am green with envy! Can't beat a proper Greek salad. xx Moy
Ah but you can !! Two Greek salads ππ€£π€£π€£π€£π€£
I'm just having a fresh Mango juice with ice and a nice spinach and feta cheese pie my neighbors wife as made mmmmm
Oh! You! We haven't been able to go to our favourite place in Crete since 2010 and I really miss it! I slow roasted a shoulder of lamb this weekend and it reminded me so much of the great meals we had there. The salads too.
And the fresh juices!
Heaven on earth.
You enjoy! xx Moy
That's why I love it here no processed foods π€£π€£π€£
That looks great Davey. Enjoy! Nice to have such good friends. Xxxπ
It's fantastic with just a sprinkle of cinnamon mmm thinking of each of you back in the UK . I would send you all one if I could . Life used to be like this in the UK when I was a kid then it all went wrong . So sad βΉοΈβΉοΈ
Chin up Davey, life is still good and weβre still here. Xxxπ€
Keep safe ππ·
You are are fortunate in your friends Davey. What is special about that favourite coffee you like so mu h? Does it have a name?
It's an icecapachinno freddo it's fantastic especially with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top mind you only have one because it's like a double shot expresso lots of caffeine π€£π€£π€£π₯΄π₯΄π₯΄
My sort of coffee, looked hreat!
I'm so jealous.....adore salad with feta and greek olive oil.......what a lucky chap you are and the delicious coffee I cannot wait to taste a proper frappe and a greek salad, I'm drooling here.I always eat so much more healthily in greece. I live off the salads, souvlaki and that wonderful greek bread and not forgetting the briam and big beans, im dreaming big time now πβπ₯π π₯π§
π€£π€£π€£π€£ perhaps I should keep quiet π€£π€£π€£ but you eat healthy here because food tastes like it should supermarket veg in UK doesn't taste the Same does it ??ππ€£
Aww Iβm feeling very jealous too! Just to be away somewhere so beautiful..sitting in a taverna with a lovely coffee like that!! ..although maybe not right now with all the fires π₯π’ Hope youβre ok and keeping safe! I read your messages, just donβt get to replying so much at the moment.
We have to take the rough with the smooth unfortunately and now I see Algeria on fire aswell not good globally
Itβs not good! Our poor world π
Well we were warned years ago by old David Attenborough and everyone ignored him and the guy was right . Now today we've had 121 covid cases all beta variant eleven were tourists seven of the eleven were from the UK says a lot doesn't it ???
My Greek son in law drinks those and frappes. I too love a Greek salad. It was eating those that turned me on to red onions, yummy! One thing I don't share is his love of goat meat!π€’
Love a good goat curry π€£π€£ I'm a true carnivore π€£π€£π€£π€£
You are so spoilt Davey, how wonderful to have such good friends. I am pleased to hear you are out and about enjoying life once again x
I won't argue with that π Greeks are wonderful people especially when you live in a small community like I do , if I went to the next village trianda the people wouldn't talk to me especially if they knew I lived here each village is different and.each as a.setttling in period for new people . But this village is one you would have to drag me away kicking and screaming from . I've got a sneaky suspicion that the island will be closed down again within a week or two covid cases are rising we went from the max of eight cases in a month to an average of 100a day yesterday we had 121 cases all down to tourism unfortunately even the government here as admitted it . Nasty bug .π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π
n ew zealand had the best idea. Let nobody in.but you would never get the whole world to do that too much regard paid to the economy . My stepson was a bank manager and everything was about the economy we almost came to blows and darent mention it now. he thought the bubble idea was great Had bubbles all over the place.
