Slightly off track I asked my eldest when he was at school to polish his boots as they are filthy and he did not. So over the weekend I polished one to a high shine and put them back in the cupboard. He is not the best of people in the morning and it was not until he went to leave the house he noticed. With a "AHH Dad I cannot go to school like this!" He cleaned them when I asked after that.

Years ago when married our dog went into labour a bit early just as my ex was leaving for work, so when I told him the good news, he just dropped everything he was holding and rushed to the bathroom. I thought, oh bless, he is overcome by it all. He then appears with a bucket of boiling water! I asked him what it was for, and he said he had seen a programme on TV when women in labour need such a thing. lol Our dog then went on to have 7 male pups.
