Neighbour admitted to hospital this morning with seizure but no visits allowed , and apparently he is in corridor, not ward . Hope he gets moved into a ward today, or is there no room due to covid already.?

Hospital beds
Thinking of your poor neighbour and wishing him a speedy recovery. Sounds like the hospital isn’t doing well with admitting people. Xxx
I hope your neighbor gets well soon, it didn't take long for covid to rear it's ugly head yet again, feel sorry for all the hospitals that will have to cope. Have a good night and take care 😊 Bernadette and Jack 🐕 xxxxxx
Alarmingly many A&Es are struggling already, many people with chest infections as if it was winter🤷♀️ I’m wondering if it’s because we’ve been so isolated/ disinfected!
Hope your neighbour gets well soon.
My son was in hospital from last Friday until yesterday with a serious illness. Despite him asking to stay in another night because he felt so unwell, he was discharged. Because he could not stop vomiting, he was given an anti-emetic to get him out. At home, once this wore off, he continued to vomit and feel dreadful. The whole NHS experience was terrible.
My mum had to spend a night in the corridor years ago as A & E were full and no hospital beds were available. We havent moved with the times, there are alot more people now in this country and too many hospitals were closed. We need more staff and more hospitals along with an increase in tax/ni to cope with this. Until we do things will only get worse, this is not just down to covid , its down to poor management x
I was in A&E fro n early afternoon till 3 am on a trolley then given a bed until 6.00 when I was given breakfast and sent down to lounge to be collected at midday. I only had a broken leg but wasn't allowed home because of stairs. There was no where for me to go to no care home, nothing . I live alone and had spent the weekend with a broken leg and climbed the stairs okay on knees .tbis was 2008 . That was the bed situation then so many years ago.
All so silly, I am sure the little local hospitals dealt with these problems alot better which allowed the main hospitals to deal with major problems. I too live alone and find when major problems arise thats when you need the help, sadly it isnt always there. And yes even in 2008 things were just as bad x
Hope your neighbour is feeling better soon and gets his seizures sorted x
My Son went into hospital this afternoon. They said he had a 8 hour wait in the ambulance before he would even be seen. That was about 5 hours ago. He has now said he will be coming home tonight. He has been seen now.
That's good to hear he's coming home tonight - I bet he's relieved about that!
We all are. He has broken his humorous but he’s not laughing. 😁🤣Poor thing was in agony.
I'm sure he was, how did he manage that?
He was two or three steps up a ladder and it gave way. He fell back on his arm. So very painful.
Ohh! Nasty! Easily done though!
He’s only just got over Covid too. He had to come back after three days from his holiday. I had to isolate for a week as he had brought my shopping four days before. It’s all happening here. Last week one of my boys was in hospital with atrial fibrillation and I was in hospital for a couple of days about five weeks ago. They say things run in threes so let’s hope that’s it now. They’ve sent my son with the broken arm home tonight. He has to go back tomorrow to have an op to pin it.
It never rains but what it pours! as they say! Hope you have some rest after all this and your son gets his arm fixed okay tomorrow!
I’m Very Sorry To Hear About Your Neighbour To Be On A Corridor Not Good .. The Hospitals Will Be Getting Fuller And Fuller I Just Hope All Will Be Ok U Just Take Care Keep Safe 🖤🖤
