I have been back to the doctor but they have said it is nothing. I am not convinced after last year being told to get acupuncture by a paramedic and then a week later insisting on an x-ray and being told that I had acute pneumonia, my trust is somewhat diminished. My hands started to shake, dry mouth, diarrhoea, confusion, breathless, tingling fingers and lots of headaches aching eyes and my left eyelid starts to flicker. Has anyone had this and is it usual for COPD ?

At work on the hottest day of the year so far I suddenly started to become confused, dry mouth, breathless and felt sick.
Hi Andrew
I think you should phone 111 if you are living in the UK
Perhaps think about changing your doctor too.
I have COPD and Diabetes, I would say your symptoms are more likely to be something other than COPD and could be symptoms of either excessively high or low blood glucose, a blood test could determine if you are diabetic. Certainly you should be checked out with blood tests in the first instance.
If this happens again do call 111 or the emergency service for further advice and support.
Stay safe.

I'd reiterate BKins advice.do get advice and checked out asap
I think a call to 111 is in order. Was this a face to face meet with your doctor? Nausea and confusion are signs of stroke (as well as a high fever). You're right to question that doctor, pneumonia can be heard through a stethoscope
I would call 111- sounds like a bit of high blood sugar to me but only my thoughts . Take care and get medical advice.

Had you been drinking enough fluids that day? Some of those symptoms can be related to that.
