Carbocisteine

Here I go again- second day of increased dosage to 2 tablets three times a day.

I feel mucus is loosening especially nasal but very much affecting my balance.

Sorry - any ideas

Hi, Carbocysteine is specifically for the lungs, I think it takes a week or 2 to kick in but it's a long time since I read the leaflet. I keep hold of all the leaflets for reference. Important to read them. Hope it works for you. P

good morning, like the last person i think they are a biuld up med, i take 4 a day every day, if i take anymore my stomache plays up, hope you get it sorted,brian

Could it be that nose,sinuses etc Also affected ears - which can cause balance probs. Do drink lots of fluid

I have been on it for around 3 years. Never had a balance problem. I am on 6 a day

Hi i take 4 a day no side effects either.

I am on 6 a day and not had any issues. Also take one Lansoprazole every morning to help with stomach.
