I suffer from copd and after the Covid shot my lungs felt so much better for 2 weeks. I have now talked to several people who experienced the same effect. Pls look into it

HI and welcome Grtone99. I have COPD and my breathing was worse for several week after my first dose of the covid vaccine but not too bad after the second. The vaccines seem to affect everyone differently. Glad that you felt some lung benefit even though it was short lived.

Hi, I had AZ vaccine and my asthma definitely seemed better after the first dose, but it’s not been so great since the second one. I have heard a few people say their asthma seemed better for a while though. Interesting!

Take care!

Hi, I had four days like that. But after the second jab I had muscle pain for a week.

This needs to be reported. This is how cures are found

Hi , I had the AZ vaccine and I’ve seen a real decline in my lung function after both doses and I don’t think it will go back to how it was. It’s very upsetting but I’m sure COVID would be much worse.

Same. Felt worse all the time. No energy. Breathing worse.

I've experienced increased breathlessness since the second jab (two weeks ago) & unusual fatigue. I'm not sure whether it's the vaccine or the high pollen count, but I've never been affected by pollen before.

Hi Same here Fircone! Definate decline in lung function after first AZ vaccine, not as bad after second and gradually improving. Must up the exercise 💪🤔

Welcome to the forum. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason in the way the jabs affect people. Glad it gave you a bit of respite.

My asthma was the best it’s been for over 10 years. Truly remarkable. Was able to reduce some meds. Now due my 2nd AZ and it’s creeping back to where it was. Was hoping it was a permanent transformation!

This really needs research

It would be a great research project - to discover what was medically different about the people who got worse and the people who got better - why it improved and why it wasn't permanent.
