AstraZeneca now working it’s magic and 6 hours later no side effects so a cheeky Merlot whilst watching the France/Scotland game.

Mrs B fully recovered from her dramas now and ironing pile gradually reducing.

All in all life is good in the Bojangles household..👍👍👍

More chance of Spurs winning the premiership in the next 10 years.

I did offer a few years ago to do only square things like tea towels or pillow cases but Mrs B rejected that proposal so i never asked again.

She does allow me to top up the bird tables though which makes me feel both valued and important.😜😜

I understand that the second AZ jab is less likely to give side-effects than the first (I believe they are using the half-dose regime, which seemed give better results in trials). The opposite seems to be true for the Pfizer vaccine, where side-effects of the 2nd dose are worse than the first; but no-one should worry about this, as the they have different, but perfectly normal, effects on the immune system.

It took fifteen or sixteen hours before I had any side effects. I woke up burning up in the night. I took a couple of paracetamols and was ok until the next afternoon. I was then shivering. Another couple of paracetamols and I was fine after.

I was OK the day of the jab but the following two days I just had no energy, to hardly put one foot in front of the other, then the day after that I was fine back to doing my daily exercises. As we are all different our bodies react in different ways I suppose. Take care.
