Yes I believe so. My husband has chronic pain and is still here. Welcome to you croa.

You certainly have an awful lot going on and I hope you’re getting all the help you need. Good to see you on HU. Xxx

Hi. There is a pain site on here so why not put your post on there as well?

Yes. After a road accident in 1977 and a failed knee operation in 1980, I knew I would live in pain for the rest of my life. I use medication, activity and mental distraction to overcome being overwhelmed in preoccupation with pain. I have and am living a very full life.

I admire your writing Croa, you express yourself and your life very well, just wish for your sake it was a happier life. Glad you have found this group, I find it a helpful distraction from life’s difficulties. Stay with us and find joy in small things. Love Iris x

I have found the community to be so supportive since I joined. I most certainly will stay with you all. You have all boosted my spirits so much. Feels like I have a new lease of life now. . I started appreciating my husband, daughter, postman, family of 6 downstairs, even prayed for them immediately when the latest member nearly one screamed about the new teeth I suspect! So yes in small ways, there is joy abounding and it is a day to celebrate all our mothers tomorrow (bereaved) or otherwise whatever emotion that brings. May they be good wholesome thoughts of goodwill for mankind. I became a Grandma last July - a little Grandson to our eldest Son and Wife whose own mother passed away with M & S for what she explained was a planned arrangement seven years ago!? This is her first Mother's Day with their not so newborn now.! I have still to have the cuddle! Sixteen photos and some videos are wonderful so I am content. Stay safe and well. xx
