Aww Sirski - That is so sweet of you, thank you so much - hopefully I will be able to report on how it goes (or went) next week x
I am sure you will your majjiesty.dare i say it will be a glowing report and will radiate us with happiness because of it's successs 😊😻 x
LOTSALOLS Sirski - I am not quite sure how radiate and glowing would be beneficial to me - that sounds more like radiation sickness poisoning - however I know you are wishing me well (at least I think you are) - drat, I have forgotten how to do a smiley face anyway I thank you very much for your good wishes - they are much appreciated xx
Your fortitude and good humour always generate a warm ambience for me majji so i don't need the smiley face.whilst others moan for England you just crack on and make the best of things and i am sure you will do likewise next week. :)xx
Thinking of you and sending you lots of love and good wishes 🐑🐑🐑🐏🐑🐑 I hope everything goes well.
Best wishes for next week.
My mother in law had it for an Acoustic Nuroma in her head. Had to travel to London as the one in Sheffield had broken down. All went well to shrink the tumour.
I have not had gamma knife experience on the brain, but I had 4 sessions, each an hour long of CyberKnife on a lung tumor 8 weeks ago. I had no pain, no lasting fatigue, no adverse side effects. I had a baseline CT at 6 weeks and there was no change. In fact, now I'm wondering if the machine was plugged in! Actually, the radiology oncologist said not to expect anything at 6 weeks.
☺️ Best of luck with your Gamma Knife treatment!
Thinking of you Majji and hope all goes well. Love and hugs x
Many thanks for your good wishes Izb1 🤐🤗
All the best for next week Hope it goes as well as it can be.
Good luck I don't think you'll need it, but good luck anyway Maureen x
Thank you so much Maureen, I very much appreciate your comment.
I was most impressed by the experience, no great discomfort apart from back pain during treatment from having to lie down for so long - which I have to admit almost brought tears to my eyes - very nice doctors and nurses - now I just hope it works, so digits crossed . . .
🤞🤞
More digits crossed than you can imagine dear lady, thankfully i don't suffer from arthritis and my joints are relatively pain free but hoping it works for you.Ski's and a knotted cat.
🙃😻 x
I'm glad it went ok apart from the back pain which sounds nasty ☹️ I will keep my digits well and truly crossed for you and keep you in my thoughts 🕊️ Sending you lots of good wishes 🌈
Hmm - I have heard nothing since that treatment - I wonder if I should chase it up - but then I always think no news is good news . . . .
