LOTSALOLS Sirski - I am not quite sure how radiate and glowing would be beneficial to me - that sounds more like radiation sickness poisoning - however I know you are wishing me well (at least I think you are) - drat, I have forgotten how to do a smiley face anyway I thank you very much for your good wishes - they are much appreciated xx

Your fortitude and good humour always generate a warm ambience for me majji so i don't need the smiley face.whilst others moan for England you just crack on and make the best of things and i am sure you will do likewise next week. :)xx

My mother in law had it for an Acoustic Nuroma in her head. Had to travel to London as the one in Sheffield had broken down. All went well to shrink the tumour.

I have not had gamma knife experience on the brain, but I had 4 sessions, each an hour long of CyberKnife on a lung tumor 8 weeks ago. I had no pain, no lasting fatigue, no adverse side effects. I had a baseline CT at 6 weeks and there was no change. In fact, now I'm wondering if the machine was plugged in! Actually, the radiology oncologist said not to expect anything at 6 weeks.

☺️ Best of luck with your Gamma Knife treatment!

I was most impressed by the experience, no great discomfort apart from back pain during treatment from having to lie down for so long - which I have to admit almost brought tears to my eyes - very nice doctors and nurses - now I just hope it works, so digits crossed . . .

🤞🤞

More digits crossed than you can imagine dear lady, thankfully i don't suffer from arthritis and my joints are relatively pain free but hoping it works for you.Ski's and a knotted cat.

🙃😻 x

Thank you so much SirSki - was that knotted or knitted? x

I'm glad it went ok apart from the back pain which sounds nasty ☹️ I will keep my digits well and truly crossed for you and keep you in my thoughts 🕊️ Sending you lots of good wishes 🌈

Many thanks for those crossed digits and kind thoughts HH - I am used to the back pain so can ignore it most of the time . . .

Hmm - I have heard nothing since that treatment - I wonder if I should chase it up - but then I always think no news is good news . . . .
