Well that was painless and stress free.

Just had the vaccine, in and out in 5 minutes

and the Oxford jab now in the system.

Good old NHS, we are so lucky to have them.

So pleased you have had your jab. Unfortunately for me I am still waiting even though I am 72 and CEV and now that the EU are trying to hijack our supplies I am getting even more anxious that I won't get mine by the 15th February target date. Roll out in my area is apparently the slowest in the country. But then as I have been shielding since last March I guess I will just have to stay shielding for several more months. On the bright side I am still alive which unfortunately so many have lost their lives. Take care and don't rush out until your jab has had time to take effect.

Same here Snackjack, My County Nottingham has been very Slow, in Organising giving the Vaccine. It was Stated in our Local Newspaper Yesterday. My GP phoned me yesterday ,re my Palliative Care, He too could not say when I would receive the Jab. I'm level 4, it is worrying reading about the EU/Vaccine Supplies. I am 69 & CEV on Oxygen 24/7. Hope with Fingers crossed you get yours very Soon. In the Meantime, like me stay Safe in doors. That's all we can do. xxxx C.

Likewise Hacienda I do hope that you get your jab sooner rather than later. I have a friend, in another area (just 20 miles away) who is 59 and on Oxygen and she has had her first jab. Yes I have got used to staying indoors now as I know that is the safest place for me. I have only been out for Hospital appointments where I have had to have a couple of procedures and last September for the flu jab which my doctors did a drive through so that felt quite safe. xxxS

I would endorse what Mr Bojangles says, though my jab was the Pfizer. Apart from a headache and a sore, heavy arm, all is well. The arrangements at the Vaccination Centre were perfect, making everyone feel confident and at ease.Thank you again, all you kind people, for encouraging me to have the jab, despite my reluctance.
