Vaccine part 1
Hi Julie14, I’m hoping to get the Oxford/AZ vaccine, not for any jingoistic reasons, it’s just because this vaccine has proven efficacy for the 3 month gap, but I will probably get the Pfizer vaccine that seems to the only one given in my area.
Stay safe.
Ian.
Hey good you got your vaccine but sorry it made you sick. Glad today you’re feeling better and that your next one won’t make you feel so rough!
Glad your feeling ok now
A friend of mine who had the vaccine also said that she felt very sick afterwards but fine the next day. I'm glad you feel better now. 😊
Hi. I had my vaccine on Saturday and I wasn’t too good on sat night, no vomiting but woke up freezing with chills and a headache. Really tired yesterday but fine today. Mine was the Oxford one too.
I had the oxford one and had a couple of days unwell, coughing and no energy at all. Iris x
Good that you had the vaccine Hopefully the effects have gone now xx
It does seem there are regular flu like side effects from the AZ vaccine. Two friends had it at the weekend and had similar, one had a temperature of 41.5C which when I checked equates to 106.7F. Good grief!! When mine shot up to 39.5C in hospital they were pretty agitated.
But I have yet to see anything reported about this. Like Ian above I dont want the Pfizer one due to Pfizer themselves saying it is not trialed for a 12 week gap. But these reports of people getting sick with the AZ one I wonder if there are any implications for those of us here with severe lung conditions.
Sorry the vaccine made you ill. Hope you are better now.
