Although not absent for long, she usually posts a reply at least once a day somewhere. Her last reply was three days ago, hopefully it is just an Internet connection problem, I know it can be iffy up there.

Heard shipping forecast today The winds are horrific connections get lost then . It will be Improving. Malin was force 6-8 and Hebrides 7-9. not pleasant I dont know what the connections are up there but she has already said it was windy there so obviously exposed situation. 60 yrs ago I was in storm like that in Mallaig harbour and we were cut off next day . No internet then and all the telephone poles were down., No trains either and I was due back at work next day. Incidentally bt have been having problems with internet and telephone connections and mine were off 5-6 hrs on Monday last and there have been more today in various places due to weather I expect.

Thank you so much everyone for your concern. I am really moved and overwhelmed. The weather has been awful and we're cut off again from the world 🌊 The internet has been hardly working for days. The cables bringing the electricity have apparently been damaged too so the risk of an imminent power cut is fairly high, until repair works can be carried out. Mostly I am fine though, and greatly cheered by all your concern which is quite amazing to come back to. Now I have lots of catching up to do here 🐑🐑🐑🐏🐑🐑

Welcome back, you were missed. Thankfully it was not because of health issues but rather all those wires and cables not liking the stormy weather.
