There are 26 days in advent this year and there are approx 28 measures in a standard bottle of gin so i opted for a liquid advent calender this year.😇

I just LOVE this post! I can relate to it so well.

30 odd years ago a colleague ( and good friend of mine) bought an advent calender for her 18yr old daughter who (oddly!) wasn't very pleased to receive it. So my colleague took it back and brought it into work. She put it on her desk and took the one chocolate a day. I had the devil in me one day and I pinched a couple of the chocs, replacing them with two very small thank you notes. I thought my friend would find it as funny as I did. Wrong! She was hopping mad and even now, has not forgiven me for it! xx Moy
