When I can help again.

I cannot wait for the day I pick the post up when its delivered of when the doorbell/Knocks to be able to answer the door or help with our groceries when they arrive not allowed to touch until everything has been wiped. . Feel so useless. I know hubby protecting me. But do feel so guilty.

On a different note. Has anyone heard about a spray you I think put up your nose to help with covid 19.

Stay Safe

Everything makes me anxious! The post, people touching my door handles, the bags of groceries..etc etc. What a year this has been!

No what you mean. I am constantly hand washing or using hand gel everytime I pick up the post or bring in the bins after the bin men have been. I absolutely hate going through the shopping delivery and having to go over it all with a soapy sponge then dry everything off but then again I cannot risk getting Covid either.

I have read that somewhere they are working on a spray to put up your nose and about a mouthwash that may help, good if they come through but I expect we will all need to have a vaccine.

I understand you may feel guilty but your husband clearly loves you and just wants to protect you and keep you safe.

I just keeping hoping that we are on the home strait after all this time.

Take care and keep you pecker up for a bit longer.

😍

Some of us don’t have anybody to pick our post up for us! I wash my hands well afterwards, use lots of gel, wear gloves when unpacking shopping and wipe with antibacterial wipes. Joy.

it is frustrating, isn't it. I think most of us feel the same. I hope groceries and post are very low sources of infection, because I still tend to deal with them, if daughter not around. Please don't feel guilty- I do too at not being able to look after my family the way I used to. Then I think,***** this for a game of soldiers; it's about time they looked after me. The thoughts oscillate.Bet your family still need you in some ways. xxx Alberta

Yep, by the time I have walked to the shops, done the shopping, walked home, unpacked, bleach wiped and put away, I am done in. Make the most of it, I wish I had someone to do this for me x

We have a 'decontamination' zone. Post and parcels are picked up with kitchen towel and placed in the zone - behind a sofa, for a couple of days. It's very difficult now as lots of parcels are arriving. We are doing all our Christmas shopping online due to lockdown and I'm just home following surgery. But better safe than sorry.

Not pampered at all. Just very aware what this virus can do to those of us who value our own lives and that of family and friends. Post and parcels are handled with gloves on until the following day. Shopping wiped over before being put away. What is the point of either shielding or isolating if you then allow germs into your home.
