think you need to be guided by your doctor. For lung patients its generally if you have a lung infection coughing up discoloured mucus etc.

Do speak with your doctor or the 111 service if you have tested positive.

It would depend on who was treating the patient with Covid 19 and something that would be totaly dependant on the individuals requirements for it to be safely aministered.thelancet.com/journals/lanr...

In other words there is no one size fits all.
