I have been on Fostair for a year now, but reading about what others are saying about it made me think. I am shaky all the time, I thought it was my copd getting worse, so now I wonder if that it is due to the Fostair. I don't know what a spiva is so perhaps someone can enlighten me.

Fostair
Spiriva is not a substitute for Fostair, it also does not contain any corticosteroids.
There are a few other substitutes for Fostair though, you will need to discuss this with your GP.
SPIRIVA RESPIMAT, 2.5 mcg, and SPIRIVA HANDIHALER are long-term, once-daily, prescription maintenance medicines used to control symptoms of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) by relaxing your airways and keeping them open. COPD includes chronic bronchitis and emphysema. SPIRIVA RESPIMAT and SPIRIVA HANDIHALER also reduce the likelihood of flare-ups (COPD exacerbations).
Hi, I have severe asthma and take both Fostair and Spireva.
Fostair does make me very shaky for an hour or so after taking it and makes me feel a bit jittery, but like 2greys said, Spireva isn’t a substitute for Fostair. It can be an add on for severe asthma (I’m not sure with COPD)
2greys has explained well, but have a chat with your doctor and there might be something else you can try.
