Could just be coincidence you could always ring your GP or Oxygen supplier and ask whether it is normal to feel that way. Best of luck

Hi Benny,

I’m on oxygen 24/7 and have been for a few months. For the last couple of weeks I have been feeling bloated and like you have lost my appetite.

When I started taking Nintedanib for my IPF a few years ago I had the usual bowel problems and again no appetite, and lost two stone in weight, not unusual for this drug.

I did seem to slowly get better with the appetite, although the portions are not the same, but I never recovered the weight.

Maybe mine is a combination of the two things, but you have certainly given me food for thought.(pardon the pun!)

I hope your taste buds are resurrected soon. There’s nothing worse than just not knowing what you fancy when you once loved food so much.

Take care. Jax.

I’ve been on oxygen 24/7 for last couple of years and have never felt bloated or off my food. I’m an acceptable weight for my height and eat regular meals. Maybe have a word with your GP would be the best bet. Joy x

I am on oxygen 24/7 and weigh 110lbs or 7.8 stone and find I get bloated when my body needs food. After I have something to eat it dies down. Dosen't make sense but it is what it is.
