Anyone heard from Azure recently?

She used to post lots and shared her tales of George. I didn’t know her much but I think of her every now and then and wonder how she is.

No her last post was 4months ago reporting on her post Covid recovery. Fingers crossed that she is ok.

I miss reading about George and Azure_Sky . Her last post was 4 months ago now. She has terrible problems with her arthritic hands and finds walking difficult, both of which must make looking after George extremely painful. She mentioned George was barking much more than he used to do, a sign of over protectiveness. That could be concern for his mistress or for himself, since he is likely to be having trouble with his legs (some of the photos showed signs of that). Jack Russells make great companions, but for the elderly can be a bit too bouncy and active and determined to have their way. The one thing that is worse than having a pet put down, is having to rehome it because you can no longer provide for it's needs. I'm hoping Christine can tell us all is well with them both,

I tend to think that if members want to communicate they will post, even if it’s only once a year like some. They might well be reading everything we post but want to be left in peace. When they suddenly become ‘hidden’ is a worry which we can’t do much about, like Stone who is much missed. 🤔x

Thats true Don, but on the other hand they maybe feeling really low and it would be nice for them to know they are liked and missed. I dont know why I deleted my post just because you didnt agree, silly really x

Aww bless you! I thought it was a lovely idea! I just hadn’t got the chance to post it in time!

Maybe Don, you are right and people don’t want to be contacted and left in peace, but just in case as Izbs said, someone is feeling a bit down it’s at least nice to know you are thought of.
