Just wondered if anyone has tried the AirPhysio , I have read many reviews and it seems promising but it is reasonably expensive , so before I jump in I thought I’d ask if any of you lovely people have tried it

I've never heard of it.

I'm wondering if someone's out to make a few £££££€€€€€$$$$ on the extra thousands who now have breathing difficulties after having covid.

And I definitely wouldn't get anything I saw on Facebook.

Sorry.

There are other aids like ultrabreathe and aerospace as well as the acapella pipes a lot of folks here use. Try putting the names in the search bar and see what comes up. Good luck. P

Hi. Yes I've purchased this device & it's helped me a lot. I have COPD & Emphysema & also suffer with my sinuses. I've found I have a much better nights sleep as well as removing the mucus of my chest. It definitely worked for me is all I can say, such relief.

I use an acapella, which was given tome by the respiratory physio.

I find it helps ,it’s available on Amazon, but it’s not cheap.see if you can get it fromyour respiratory team first

My respiratory physiotherapist told me not to buy any device as most are not that affective and overpriced.

I tried to get one from my GP but he said the improvement was not worth the cost so would not issue prescription for it. I have tried it but not sure whether it is worth the price.

Thank you for that. I have been watching some videos on you tube and it seems that practice makes perfect.😀 I think I will invest anyway and see how it goes , keep at it, it certainly can’t do any harm

Hi Piper21, I wonder if you did purchase this and what you thought? I have just seen it for the first time, but am very sceptical. I have asthma and would like to improve my breathing without meds if I could, but really can't afford to it. Thank you

Hi there. Yes I did purchase it and I find that it does help in removing phlegm. I don’t know if it would help you to cut down on your medications though. It is expensive and from what I gather there are many different devices out there that say they can do the same thing...I couldn’t comment on that as I haven’t tried any others.

Let me know how you go and I might invest in one. I am Scottish brought up in Yorkshire and am very careful with my money.

Hi Alice, I think the main purpose of the AirPhysio is to help us to remove congestion that builds up in our lungs....it does this for me, not immediately but within a couple of hours. That in turn obviously helps our breathing but it hasn’t changed my breathing to the extent that I need less medication. Hope that helps
