Dr said unsafe go back as unable to wear mask for 12 hours so work none to happy which I fully understand

Trying to look at early retirement but not got a clue where to start

I don`t know if you have an illness nor what sort of work you do.

But early retirement can be negotiated with yourself and your employer.

you can (as has been said) claim o lot of other benefits and some even pay your NI contributions.

I would talk to your employer first mostly out of courtesy for them.
