Being a new person to this - just a message to say thanks to everyone for responding. When it’s diagnosed you feel alone. I now realise that there are so many of us with Bronchiectasis - a lot of people really worse off than myself, humbled - but still fed up with the coughing up fluid & tiredness - off to see a new Consultant ( hopefully) 1st real physical Doctor in 6 mths- fingers crossed and see what happens

Hi Kiwib, sorry I missed your earlier post, so will say a delayed welcome to the site. Its very difficult when you first get diagnosed as you are just left in the dark to find your own way around things. Thank heavens for the members on this site. I have learned more on here than anywhere else. Good luck with your appointment, make a list of questions that you want to ask as you always forget when you sit in the chair. Irene x

Good luck with your appointment . I too am humbled by those on here with more severe bronchiectasis than myself. On a positive note mine hasn't worsened in over 10 years according to a scan. x Anita
