thanks to everyone who commented to my post this week.

We had the visit today from the palliative nurse. She was really helpful and gave us lots of advice and is kicking off lots of actions to help us get things sorted for my dad.

He is now on gold standard care package. She will be our first point of contact for all of his needs. She is getting the district nurses on board to do his CHC assessment as quickly as possible. It’s likely that Dad will get a full care packaged now. We have been self funding so far.

Have some actions I need to follow up on but she is taking on lots of the actions for us.

These guys really do a great job.
