Hello all. need advice. I am NSIP and just lately, find I keep dropping off to sleep. most times do not realise it until I wake up. Any comments or advice welcome. thank you. keep safe. cheers. spooks

Two things come to mind, high blood glucose (diabetes) and sleep apnoea.

Perhaps you should speak to your doctor about this, the high blood glucose needs checking if you are not already a diabetic.

are you sleeping properly at night. I find myself asleep but waking after only 5 hours. put it down to anxiety at this, time being alone , confined to house for 4/5 months.

Thank you Jaybird19. I have no trouble sleeping during the day , so not sleeping much at night Have been speaking with old friends, and think the reason could be due to the fact l was a night nurse for many years. I have met this situation on more than one occasion when working. Only thought of it when one of my ex-colleagues is having the same problem. strange as it may seem I quite enjoy being up at night and be isolated does not interfere with anything I want to do. no one to bother me, so not too bad on the whole.
