One thing that can cause this is the date setting on your computer. I was once tearing my hair out as every site said it had no security certificate, the certificiates only last a certain time so if your computer has had a blip and lost its time and date settings you'll get that message. Try resetting the date - otherwise, I don't know! But there are a couple of members who are very savvy and will hopefully come to your rescue. Libby

Hi

Not to sure ! If this message is from your installed security suite,

You may have to accept it as trustworthy.

It is common for security systems to throw up a warning, if the site is not known.

I've had this happen with some sites, but as long as I trust them I accept without the security certificate. It has even appended for me with M&S and Amazon. I would suggest to use common sense and allow those you know.

I understand. I wasn't implying you didn't have common sense at all. Merely that that's how I approach those messages. Xx

Hi didn't think you was lynne it's just me I no I've not got alot if common sense thankyou for your advice xx

in reply toLynne1955

Thanks, Lynne, I will be ready next time -- one learns.

Don't know much about phones, Pamela, but I would recommend you run your anti-virus programme to see if it's giving a false positive for malware.

Bots, spiders and crawlers trawl the internet 24/7, perhaps your browser cookie cache needs to be cleared, before you stop getting that message.

It's so easy to pick up unwanted malware, found over 200 p2p's on mine yesterday LOL. Hey, that's what I get for going on facebook and playing games :d

They are all small programmes which gather information from websites, for search engines. :)

I have been running computers for twelve years, always with the protection of Norton. It has never let me down.

It may be due to the security settings in your Internet explorer - I think.
