How is Kath from PoemsGalore? I miss her lovely poetr and hope she's OK. I remember she was taking a break a while back but hope all is well with her and her family.

Good morning @ sassy59 and it is always such a worry when members go on the missing list. Ive not seen Kath on here either and also i was wondering about @Stone_uk, who doesn't seem to be around either.

Hope you and Pete are putting on a brave face during these terrible, uncertain times. I prey that COVID-19 doesn't hang about and go into 2021. That will just be dreadful. From a selfish point of view, the Care Home residents haven't been able to have proper visits since March and it's so upsetting. Sorry to have a little rant ! 🐿🌈xxx

It is a worry when people go missing from the forum SH but let’s hope they’re ok.

We’re not doing too badly thank you but I don’t like this so called “new normal.” I do feel Covid will go into 2021 sadly as there is as yet no vaccine available. Let’s hope care home residents are able to have visitors soon as it would do relatives and residents alike a great deal of good.

That is too bad, I always felt that she compensated for the silly light-hearted stuff that I tend to post by showing what real poetry was about. I know she thought that her poems were too dark but I thought the members comments would soon convince her that wasn't the case. I thought we made a good partnership. Her health problems put a great strain on her I know. Hopefully she will be reading this under another name, one that doesn't put pressure on her as her old one did. Come back Kath we need you! 😘

So Sad to Hear this Don, I am sure on Behalf of all Members , we loved her Poetry, as Like yours Don, I always put you two together. Some of her Poems I missed, but always kept in touch with Kath. I have been thinking about her for a while now Don. I know she was taking a break. I had hoped she would just take a break from writing poems and just look in from time to time.

Kath was one of the first, regular posters I came across last Summer and welcomed me to the Forum. I enjoyed her poems, which must have been diffcult to produce at times with the pain she endured. She has many health problems and hopefully, she just needs a rest and will be back soon. I miss her posts a great deal.

If you read this Kath, we want you to know we miss you and hope you are OK

I vaguely remember seeing somewhere in ‘setting’ that it’s possible to have your postings shown as ‘hidden’ without leaving. If that is the case then I hope that is what Kath has done.

So sad to read that Kath has left, lets hope she is just taking a break and will return to us in the future. I have sent a couple of private messages to Stone UK and never had a reply, which leaves me with worries that he maybe poorly x

I agree with you. I wish I had some idea why they have left. You get so used to regular posters that they are a bit like an extended family and its upsetting.

I wish there was some way of finding out.

I'm glad you and others on here feel the same as me. I love this forum and its the people on it that have made it so special.

Yes totally agree with you, but I suppose like family they need a break sometimes and just hope they come back. I feel more worried when they dont reply and hope that they are being looked after x

Sorry for the delay in replying, but I have got hold of Kath.

She asked me to say she is thinking of us all, but at the moment life has got really busy. She is needing to look after her husband and also says her 'poem head' has gone AWOL

She knows people have been asking after her and really appreciates knowing that we all care.
