When my granddaughter was about 20 months old we took her to Sewerby Hall in Bridlington,
As I held her hand she was a bit reluctant to walk along to encourage her I said "Along here we'll see some deer"
She eagerly hurried along next to me. Her little legs doing more up and down than forward movements as she had not yet learned to run. As she trotted along she was saying over and over "We going to see the Oh dear! We going to see the Oh dear!"
She's 10. Her big sister is nearly 29 and her younger sister 9 and brother is 7, my other grandsons are 20 and 16. I have two great grandsons 11 and 8'
Your deer picture just made me think of that day , thanks for sharing it xxx
Thank you and for the delightful photograph yet again. .I know you will have a delightful weekend if you decide to go for a walk in your neck of the woods. But I'll wish you a good one anyway!
Time is passing so quickly these days but the natural world never stays still.
Not yet, but things are supposed to get easier here in a few days, and in a few weeks in Scotland, so perhaps travel will be possible soon ππππππ
Totally different from here then people out in droves and using the forest areas like it's a holiday destination cooking BBQ s drinking fingers crossed you get back soon π
