This article from a very reputable journal has a lot of info about 'aerosol transmission' suggesting that aerolised droplets travel much further and hang about in the air longer than had been previously thought.

All the government management decisions are being driven by politics, not by science. So sadly we need to take care of ourselves.

Makes absolute sense O2.

Hope you're well and coping. Are you able to go for a walk when its quiet (and no tourists about)? P xx

I finally can now P, since shielders were 'let out' on Monday. The reason I couldnt before is that I need my oxygen for walking which would have immediately identified me as someone shielding who shouldnt be out. We will be walking shortly today on Duncan Downs, lovely grassy and tree-y area, quite hilly, looking forward to it. But I would still stay metres away from other people.

Up to now Ive been walking 15 minutes daily inside my house which has a long corridor so Ive retained my fitness. Yesterday met friends on the beach, with big climb back up to the path which was challenging but ok.

Hope you are good, seems like this will never be over. Stay safe, dear P xx :)

Bravo, have a really lovely walk in the fresh air 🤗, perhaps its cooled down over there which will make it more comfortable for walking. Lola and I are fine, we're able to get to the park 10 minutes away without going near anyone twice round & back is about 2 miles altogether (bit wet today so podging out on sofa after pilates class) .so glad you can get out 😘
